News From The 4th Wall

As you may or may not have heard, the news broke this week: We are opening a second location of The 4th Wall!

Two years ago next month, we set out to do something different in the world of comics retailing. We wanted to create a store and atmosphere that was completely unique, and bring a different approach to the medium we love so much. We wanted to share these characters, worlds and books with you, and many of you have come to love them just as much as we do.

Two years, one comic strip, an online pull service, a smart car, several sales, Art groups, art shows, conventions, parties and wonderful new friends later, I humbly think that we’ve begun to scratch the surface of the tip of the iceberg.

This second store is a big deal, and it could not have happened without the support of the customers and friends who make our community so much fun to be a part of day in and day out. We cannot wait to make that community even bigger, with even more fun and excitement within.

So what will another store mean? For now, painting, assembling and renovating. Soon though, more books, more staff, more website fun, more events. more signings and of course, and more comics!

We will be posting on The 4th Wall site regularly as we get the new shop ready for business. There’s bound to be some tomfoolery and such involved, and when it’s ready to go we will let you know exactly where (and with whom!) we are!!

Until then friends, sincerely, Thank You. Thank you for checking us out, supporting us and for helping make this dream come true all over again.

Peace, Love and Road Hockey,

How did I miss this? Now that I read the good news, congratulations are in order! I’m glad to hear The 4th Wall is expanding. Who knows? Maybe in three years time, as an owner of a huge chain of stores, you’ll be able to afford some comics with custom covers and The 4th Wall logo? Too bad the Spider-Man custom cover deal was rather expensive.

Sweet. Now you can show the rest of the Comic Book stores downtown how it should be done.
At the Montreal Comiccon all the vendors thought they giving great deals with 10% off the
U.S. cover price. “I get a better deal at 4th Wall” was my mantra.
