The Watchtower’s back and at full power!

First up, there’s a whole lot of screen-related news out there this week, both Big and Small. There’s a new trailer for Iron Man 2, some details on Thor, Smallville gets another lease on life, and they want WHO to be Captain America? Find out!

Up next, Bruce Wayne is poised to start is fight through time to reclaim the Mantle of The Bat. DC has relesed the covers to the limited series, but what can they tell us? A whole lot apparently. Have a look:

Avengers. Secret Avengers. New Avengers. Avengers Academy. Who can keep it all straight with this many teams? We try our best to clear it all up for you as Marvel’s Avengers Cavalcade Continues!

Plus The Forecast, Questy’s Rant Farm and Jeff can actually talk! Well, kinda. He wasn’t very good at it to begin with…

I love you too guys. I first started listening when HeavyInk had your podcast on their site. Since I got back into comics in early ‘08 I’ve dragged as many of my peers as possible down with me. A lot of times I buy books to read once and give away. Even my homies at Hemp City are tuning in for you guys since I left an impressive stack in their bathroom. Think about that. Someone walks in to buy some rollies and a hacky sack and comes out having learned that The Watchmen isn’t just a movie.

Donny I didn’t mean to push your buttons like that man. Point taken. Actually Jeff, it’s like you’re even more valuable now since venturing into the retail game yourself. Also I know that Kathrine is way more celebritized than you guys at this point and we should BE so lucky that she graces the airwaves alongside you two every now and again. But. It was clear to me since her first visit that she’s trying to do to you, Questy, that thing that redheads do to so many guys. She may not even know she’s doing it. It could be a predetermined genetic disposition that ALL redhead girls are born with. Ya smell me? I’m glad that you’re so cool about it. Props dude.

LMAO I love the idea of dudes buying rollies and then being like “Ya man pump that Hendrix tune! Hey, why are these guys talking over Jimmy’s opus man…not cool…oh wait I like Iron man too. Buddy, wanna go home and bake and watch Iron Man?”

KATHERINE IS MORE FAMOUS THAN ME!? Where? Kidding, but ya shes as evil as Mary Jane. Seriously who dates their best friend’s ex after they get chucked off a bridge.

No beef man, I love you for listening to the show and passing it on and for your comments. We’re all good.

If your theory about this whole Bruce Wayne return thing and how he dies at the end of each comic then wouldn’t that just be a gritty remake of quantum leap but with Batman instead of Scott Bakula.

Actually now that I’ve written that down it sounds like an idea I could get behind.

Guys I’m not much of a bragger, and this has nothing to do with the last show; I’m only telling you because you are Canadian brodcast people and in the right age demographic to know who I’m talking about, but GUESS WHO I MET TONIGHT?………………TARZAN DAN! And he’s as cool as I always imagined.

It’s always good to have Katherine on to keep things fresh, but it wouldn’t be the Watchtower without the dynamic duo! Of course it helps when Questy doesn’t balls up the sound effects, come on man what the hell happened? In your defence I’ve also spent most of the week on FFXIII, which my girlfriend is happy to point out.

I’m also feeling Samuels Quantum Leap comparison. Hilarity awaits!
