« Previous | October 14th, 2009 | Next »This week on The Watchtower, we turn down the lights, thrown on some Chicago and bring you the late-night edition of the show.
This week some light shed on the nest big Marvel Event. Seige will last 4 Bendis-scripted issues, but what will it mean for the Marvel U? The original Avengers back together for starters! Throw in the identity of Osborn’s secret Cabal member, and you’ve got one hell of an event! We break it down from inside to out!
Then in the Forecast, it’s a Girl Talk so bad that it belongs in jail. Which is exactly where the book starts. Tune in and find out what’s new with the Models Inc. and the rest of the books that were in stores last week!

Oh god… I just started listening to the podcast. On the subject of the yaoi. I am a regular in a local anime store, and you would be surprised by how many fangirls there are buying yaoi. Try this:
#1. Go to a convention, preferably an anime con.
#2. Walk into a crowd of girls.
#3. Say “Can anyone tell me what Yaoi is?”
Prepare for the most frightening thing ever. Yaoi fangirls. Yikes.
Lovin’ the podcasts guys!

Yo. I’m fairly certain something big is gonna happen with Clint Barton. I may just be unnecessarily nerding around but hear me out. Clue 1) In New Avengers the power disruptor got him all vomity and sick, even though he doesn’t have powers. Clue 2) In Secret Warriors the List they show Osborn’s list of people he wants eliminated. The ones he can kill he says kill and the ones too powerful to kill he says neutralize. The list says ‘Neutralize Clint Barton’. Yea that’s all I got. Not much but it’s something. I smell a twist ending for the wise cracking Clint Barton.

What do you guys think of Wizard setting up their Big Apple show on the same weekend as the NYCC? Ballsy? And how about their announcement of the Toronto Comic Con in late March?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I’m down with a 4 issue event (minus all the spin-offs). No room for filler, just pure storytelling.
