Up next, Marvel experiments with same-day distribution of it’s print and digital comics. A step forward? Or the end of the comic shop as we know it…

Questy, as far as I know the Scott Pilgrim game is a timed exclusive for PSN so who knows when it’ll be out on the 360.
One thing about digital distrobution is the market. If you look at games on the iPhone/iPad they are packaged and sold to a completely different audience than console games, either as little games to pass the time or as add-ons for existing games. I doubt comic fans want to read their books digitally and I doubt iPad users will be converted into to true comic fandom by digital comics but if both sides of the coin bring in some money then it helps the industry as a whole.
If the unthinkable happens and comics go purely digital then damn, the collectors market for print comics will go through the roof!
Keep up the good work guys, best podcast out there.

The ultimates universe comes to the big screen. i do approve though of how they were able pull off captain america’s costume. i was personally not a fan of ultimates. but the costumes do look good.
Ipad… im not a tech savvy. i have no interest in the ipad, ipod, idrink, italk, ichat. and the point im trying to make is that i agree with jeff if you give the first part of the comic on the ipad for free, then you may rake in new people or older fans who left back into comics. But now, this is going to create something which has exist since the playstation 1. Old comic fans, and new fans. you got new people coming into a store, and they go one years later that so and so issue is good cause it was the first one they read. but it could be worse in what Donnie say. I for one see no actual value to these icomics.
I don’t like brightest day. this reminds me of fugg’in countdown to crisis. aquaman, martian manhunter have the best story. the story is all over the place. i would not mind if they focus one issue on each character. im calling it and saying its boston brand to wield it.. DIR.
*clap clap clap* loved the rant farm. hey Micheal bay is going to do the Teenage mutant ninja turtles movie, Raphael’s sai is going to blow up a few buildings, and that megan fox was replaced by some model who can’t act at all and have no acting experience. i understand you’re blight. its total crap from the film industry, and how people like micheal bay ruins everything from my childhood. if he signs on for He-man and the masters of the universe or he does the thundercats im boycotting the studios. cause this is getting re-donk-culous.
and thats all i got to say on that. great show like always guys. donnie love the rant farm.

About Questy’s rantfarm, Kardassian playing Lara Croft, …You fell for the recent PUBLICITY GIMMICK to promote name brands. To me, Kim Kardassian was a pretty girl and someone on a cover of an old porn movie, now you have educated me on what made her famous, dancing with Bono, so, you had promoted her to me through your rant. It’s adding a celebrity to an event or movie to get people talking about the celebrity, …for example, after Xmen2 came out, Britney Spears promoters leaked info that she’s going to be in Xmen3, …and everyone talked about it. Other info I caught was Spears was going to be in a Dirty Dancing remake with Ricki Martin. Promoters or agents or actors does this to get their name out to other areas, the Director of A-team movie claimed to have had talks in directing the Avengers movie and leaked the A-team movie to the comic geeks.
Examples: Years ago, Lindsey Lohan wanted to play Wonder Woman. Paris Hilton wanted to play Mother Teresa in a biopic. Nowadays it’s running rampant with twitter and facebook, like Donnie Glover vying for Spiderman role (Which Chris Rock did that shlick years ago for Spiderman 1).

I probably wasn’t clear, a digital version of Lara Croft danced with Bono on stage not Kim Kardi. Sorry bout that.
