Episode 057: (Not) Starring Jessica Alba
« Previous | May 21st, 2008 | Next »US Elections! Myanmar! Gun Laws!!
Not one of these things is discussed on this week’s episode of The Watchtower!
Instead, we stick to what we know, and go through some hardcover graphic novel ideas, dissect Chapter 1 of Batman R.I.P. and take a look at what DC and Marvel have on tap for our eyes and our wallets this summer.
I know what you are thinking, that’s a lot of stuff. Well, don’t worry because on top of all that, we still found time to squeeze in The Forecast!
It’s The Watchtower, only slightly less fun than American Gladiators!

As shameful as it is to admit, Donnie totally bested me at Marvel vs. Capcom. I wouldn’t say I got ‘dominated’ though. In my defense, it wasn’t Goldeneye. FanExpo 2008, Qwesty. You’re mine!
Anyone know where I can go practice?

Another fanbloodytastic show!
I was really confused by Batman 676. Can’t say I’m intrigued enough to buy the next issue.
I love Grant Morrison, but I’m not digging his Batman

Ha. “Sweet Donnie.” That was my favourite part.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about that Captain Britain series–did you guys read Wisdom? It came out last year by the same writer and supposedly this new series was born out of positive reaction to it…

I actually did read the first couple of issues of that before it got lost amongst the pile. I remember enjoying it though, I should look for the trade.
